5. Smoking and vaping

JTC Staffing Solutions workers who participate in shifts in any Long-Term Care contract homes, or when using accommodation provided by JTC Staffing Solutions, are required to adhere to the specific smoking policies of the facilities.

Should the failure of an employee to comply with the smoking policy of JTC Staffing Solutions result in financial fines or cleaning costs, the employee will be solely responsible .

Smoke Breaks

  • Employees of JTC Staffing Solutions are only allowed to smoke or vaporize during designated lunches and breaks, in designated smoking areas and away from business entrances.
  • All products used for smoking, including butts of cigarettes and matches will be removed and disposed of in the proper containers.
  • JTC Staffing Solutions workers must thoroughly wash their hands upon their return from a smoke break.
